Accra, Ghana / Nairobi, Kenya – 15th March, 2025

We are proud to announce a strategic partnership between the Ghana Internet Safety Foundation (GISF) and Eveminet Communication Solutions Limited, Kenya, aimed at tackling the escalating crisis of tech-facilitated gender-based abuse and promoting digital safety across vulnerable communities in Africa—especially women and girls.

As digital platforms increasingly shape our social, economic, and educational landscapes, the threats facing women and girls online—such as cyber harassment, image-based abuse, online stalking, doxxing, and financial sextortion—have become more pervasive and damaging. Many cases remain unreported due to stigma, limited awareness, and gaps in legal protection.

This partnership is a bold step toward bridging those gaps through research, education, advocacy, and community-led interventions.

“The surge in tech-facilitated gender abuse is a direct threat to digital inclusion and online participation,” said Emmanuel Adinkrah, CEO of GISF. “Through this partnership with Eveminet, we will provide evidence-based solutions that not only protect women and girls but also drive stronger legal frameworks and institutional responses to online harm.”

“Digital safety is a fundamental right,” added Evelyn Kasina, Founder & CEO of Eveminet Communication Solutions. “Through this partnership, we aim to strengthen engagement with regional policies, implement the African Union’s digital transformation agenda, and build stronger collaborations with civil society and private sector actors.”
