Equipping Ghanaian teachers with the knowledge, resources and confidence to teach online safety and protect students in a digital age.
Teachers are often the first trusted adult a child turns to, and often the first to notice when something is wrong. Yet many educators in Ghana are expected to handle cyberbullying, phone misuse, image-sharing incidents and online exploitation with little training or guidance.
The iLearn2Teach Series closes that gap. Through practical, classroom-ready training, we help teachers understand the online world their students live in, teach digital safety with confidence, and respond appropriately when a child is at risk.
The series is built on a simple idea: learn it, then teach it. Teachers first build their own digital safety skills. They then receive the lesson plans, activities and tools to pass that knowledge on, so online safety education reaches every classroom long after our sessions end.
Our Child Online Protection Program provides practical knowledge and skills that help children navigate the internet safely and responsibly.
The platforms, games and trends young people use, and the risks that come with them, from cyberbullying and grooming to sextortion, scams and AI-generated content.
Age-appropriate lesson plans, activities and discussion techniques to make digital safety engaging across subjects and grade levels.
Spotting changes in behaviour that may point to online abuse, exploitation or distress.
Developing acceptable-use policies, codes of conduct and reporting procedures for the whole school.
Every child deserves a safe and positive digital experience. Partner with GISF to support online safety education, awareness programs and child protection initiatives across Ghana.
