GISF’s Online Safety Program gives children and young people across Ghana the knowledge, skills and judgement to make the most of the internet while staying safe from its risks.
For young Ghanaians, the internet is where they learn, socialise, create and increasingly earn. Being safe online now takes more than avoiding strangers. It means spotting a scam, questioning what they see, managing their digital reputation, and understanding how AI and algorithms shape what they see.
GISF’s Online Safety Program brings practical, engaging digital safety education into schools, youth groups and communities. We help young people build habits that protect them now and stay with them into adulthood. They become not only safer users but responsible digital citizens who look out for one another.
Our approach is:
Our Child Online Protection Program provides practical knowledge and skills that help children navigate the internet safely and responsibly.
Children learn about common online risks and how to make safer decisions when using digital platforms.
Helping children identify, prevent and respond to cyberbullying and harmful online behavior.
Teaching children how to protect personal information, accounts and digital identities.
Building awareness about responsible conversations, online friendships and digital respect.
Every child deserves a safe and positive digital experience. Partner with GISF to support online safety education, awareness programs and child protection initiatives across Ghana.
