The CyberMums Edition of Digital Parenting came alive in a
very real and human way, not just through presentations, but
through conversations, questions, and shared understanding.
Led by Dr. Gabriel Ofori Appiah – DTh,MTh,DDiv and the
GISF team, the awareness went beyond explanations on a stage.
The team moved through the marketplace, engaging mothers
directly, breaking down how online exploitation happens and
how families can better protect children in today’s digital
world.To ensure clarity for everyone, key messages were also shared in local languages, making it easier for every mother to
understand online risks and practical steps for safer digital use
at home.At Ghana Internet Safety Foundation (GISF), in collaboration with Digital Aid International , Praesidio
Safeguarding, and the National Council of Parent Teacher
Associations, the focus remains simple, no caregiver should be
left out of the conversation on online safety.
And in the marketplace, one thing stood out clearly: when
understanding becomes clear, protection becomes possible 🫶🏽
