Last Monday, ahead of the National Online Safety Summit
2026, Ghana Internet Safety Foundation (GISF) in
partnership with Praesidio Safeguarding paid a courtesy call
on the Cyber Security Authority (CSA), Ghana’s national
authority responsible for cybersecurity and child online
protection, and provided modest logistical support to
complement ongoing Child Online Protection (COP) activities.
The engagement was an opportunity to reaffirm respect for the
CSA’s leadership and mandate, while expressing GISF’s
commitment to supporting national efforts through
collaboration, advocacy, and practical assistance where
appropriate. Effective child online protection depends on strong
institutions backed by cooperative partners.
GISF remains committed to working alongside state authorities,
civil society, and industry to help strengthen prevention,
reporting, and response systems that protect children in
Ghana’s digital spaces.
Closing the gaps in child online protection starts with
collaboration that turns shared responsibility into real action.
