Ghana Internet Safety Foundation is pleased to announce that our President, Founder, and Chief Information Security Officer, Emmanuel Adinkra- CISA, MCSA,MCSE, Security Plus, PMP, will be speaking at the upcoming AI and Child Safety Experience Webinar, hosted by Mtoto News on June 27, 2025 at 6:00 PM EAT. Themed “AI in My Language, My Classroom, My Future,” this event will examine the critical gaps between global AI systems and local African realities. Joining him in this vital dialogue are Confidence Osein Founder of Internet Safe Kids Africa, and Edith Utete a prominent Digital Wellbeing Advocate. Together, these thought leaders will examine the urgent need for AI technologies that reflect the diversity, realities, and safety of African children, both in how they learn and in how they live online. Too often, AI-powered platforms fail to recognize the cultural and linguistic diversity of the children they serve. Without intentional inclusion of local voices in design and policy, African children risk being sidelined in the very systems intended to empower them.
