Cyber Moms Initiative 2025 👩🏽💻 Empowering Mothers, Securing Futures The Cyber Moms Initiative came alive over the weekend at Aggrey Memorial AME SHS, Cape Coast, where mothers gathered to learn, share, and be inspired. Hosted by Ghana Internet Safety Foundation (GISF) in collaboration with the National Council of Parent Teacher Associations (NCPTA), the event focused on equipping mothers with practical skills and knowledge to guide and protect their families in the digital space. Under the leadership of Mr. Gabriel Ofori Appiah – DTH,MTH,DTH , GISF’s Director for Outreach and Awareness, participants explored topics such as responsible screen time across age groups, online grooming, cyberbullying, misinformation and disinformation, and the deep web. The discussions were highly engaging and eye-opening, giving mothers a deeper understanding of how to promote safer and more responsible online behavior at home. Parents expressed great excitement and appreciation, describing the session as insightful and transformative. Many also called for subsequent engagements involving both parents and students, highlighting their interest in continued learning and digital empowerment.
