Cybersafety Ambassadors

Cybersafety Ambassadors

Our Cybersafety Ambassadors Program is our flagship program that is dedicated to grooming school children to become online safety ambassadors. Research findings indicated that as of September 2022, there are approximately 17 million internet users in Ghana with Children with access to internet enabled devices accounting for about 15 to 20% of the online ecosystem.

As of October 2022, the program had successfully trained 150 Cybersafety ambassadors who serve as online safety ambassadors in their schools, homes and places of social gathering. Issues like Child Online Sexual Exploitation, Cyber-bullying, use of abusive language and uncontrolled viewing of adult materials are common nowadays. This program is supported by Microsoft Corporation via its Employee Giving Program.

Our pioneering group of Cybersafety ambassadors was drawn from both public and private schools. Some of these schools are Ridge School, Headlines Educational Complex, Bernstel School, and Atwima Kwanwoma cluster of schools.
