Big news! Ghana Internet Safety Foundation officially launches Online Safety Clubs in schools 🎉📚 In the Ghana Internet Safety Foundation’s quest to create a safer digital space, with its flagship program being Child Online Protection, initiatives such as ILearn2Teach, E-Police Academy, Digital Parenting Webinars and Workshops, Child Online Protection Soccerthon, African Youth for Online Safety, KNUST Peer Counselors Capacity Building Workshop, along with various outreaches in schools and religious groups, have been successfully rolled out over the years. The increasing access to and use of digital technologies by children combined with limited knowledge of online safety among other stakeholders (teachers, parents, law enforcers, youth, and children) inspired the launch of Online Safety Clubs in schools. Through this initiative, students will be trained as Cyber Champions. By equipping these club members with practical skills and knowledge on both proactive and reactive measures, they will be empowered to guide and support their peers in safe and responsible use of digital communications.
